The high standards set by the competition will be matched by the equipment and facilities provided by Linpac, Barloworld, and, of course, the Sumo Glove which will be fitted to all competition trucks.
Over 80,000 operators registered on the RTITB National Operator Registration Scheme are eligible to take part in the competition, held in three stages
The 1st stage will be a web based theory and hazard perception test. The 2nd stage will comprise of a 45 minute practical test held at regional centres.
This will culminate in a grand final at RTITB's Telford HQ in September with the 1st prize of a 5-door Ford Fiesta Duratorq. 2nd prize will be a luxury holiday and 3rd prize a European city break weekend.
A gala prize winner's dinner will be held on the evening of the grand final with accommodation provided.
